Just from what I've read of Osiris...BUT...even more interesting getting back to the dev photo in question. Look into Horus - the egyptian GOD OF WAR born of Osiris & Isis. He was most often depicted as falcon-headed (note pic again). I'll read more into, but, this would be a feasable cross-over into egyptian myth for the series. Kratos as a reincarnated Horus perhaps. Remember the phoenix on the mountain (beneath the body of dying Kratos at the end of III)? Phoenix are reborn and even if it werent a phoenix, it's still reminiscent of a falcon. Something to ponder.
I have forgotten most of the mythology. I actually never knew that Osiris took over Anubis. I'll have to read up on it again.
Didn't Anubis and a bunch of the other gods get killed, de-dicked, ate, etc.? I forget the mythos. I wasn't that into furry deities with a cock fetish.
